Burnley make opening bid for Hearts winger Driver

Burnley boss Owen Coyle is chasing Hearts winger Andy Driver.

The Scottish Sun says Coyle has had a £2 million offer for England U21 international Driver rejected by the Jambos.

His initial move for Driver was blocked by Jambos director Sergejus Fedotovas.

He was unhappy that Hearts would only receive £1.25m up front with the rest of the cash in performance-related add-ons.

The Jambos want more than DOUBLE that for the 21-year-old.

Coyle is expected to return with an improved offer to see off competition from Coventry and Sheffield United.
