Premier League returnees Burnley have reportedly made a bid for Watford striker Troy Deeney.
The Daily Mail suggests that the Clarets have offered £8million for the 26-year old but the Hornets are looking for something closer to the £10m-mark.
Deeney fired home 26 goals for Watford last season and is admired by Burnley boss Sean Dyche who worked alongside him at Vicarage Road.
The likes of Aston Villa, Leicester City and QPR have all been credited with an interest in Deeney but it appears as though Burnley are leading the race for his services.
