Burnley have failed with a bid for Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick.

The Mirror says Burnley have failed with a £3.5million offer for Hendrick.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche is keen to bolster his midfield with Hendrick, who starred for Ireland at Euro 2016 and who is a product of Derby's academy.

But Derby have rejected Burnley's offer of £3.5million for the Dubliner, who has two years left on his Rams deal.
