​Burnley lose to Championship side Leeds on penalties

Premier League side Burnley bowed out to Championship side Leeds United on penalties in the third round of Carabao Cup.

The game at Turf Moor, which ended in a 2-2 draw in normal time, saw both sides scored twice in the last eleven minutes.

Former Leeds striker Chris Wood and Robbie Brady scored for the Clarets while Hadi Sacko and Pablo Hernandez were on target for the visitors.

None of the teams managed to score in the extra-time, and the penalties ended 5-3 in favour of Leeds.
