Ahead of their clash with West Ham, Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen says they can take heart from their draws with Aston Villa and Manchester City.

Jensen admits Burnley have been encouraged by their performances against Manchester City, where they drew 3-3, and Saturday's 1-1 draw with Villa, despite conceding a late equaliser.

"It just shows what we are capable of," said the 34-year-old to the Lancashire Telegraph.

"We just need to keep it going now. Aston Villa are one of the best sides going forward..

"We did really well until a few minutes before the end..

"If we can eradicate that a little bit then we have a good chance to get more than a point at a time."
