Burnley insist no approach from Crystal Palace has been fielded for Sean Dyche.
The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says Burnley are yet to receive an official approach from Crystal Palace for boss Dyche.
Reports have suggested Palace would turn to Dyche as they seek to fill the managerial vacancy created by Sam Allardyce's departure almost a month ago.
But while the Selhurst Park hierarchy have been impressed with the work Dyche has done at Turf Moor the Lancashire Telegraph understands he is currently not the frontrunner for the job and there has been no approach to the club from Palace for Dyche.
The Turf Moor chief was on the long list initially drawn up by Palace and he has remained towards the front of the betting as the list has been whittled down.
