Burnley in talks with PSV over defender Isimat-Mirin - Collet-Gaudin

French journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin has reported that Burnley are in negotiations with PSV Eindhoven over the transfer of Niclolas Isimat-Mirin.

According to Collet-Gaudin, who posted the news via Twitter, PSV are reluctant to sell the 25-year old due to the number of sales they allowed this summer.

The French centre-back, who was on the books at Monaco before moving to Holland in 2015, has made 45 Eredivisie appearances in his two seasons at PSV.

The tweet from Collet-Gaudin read: Exclusive: Burnley still in negotiations to buy Isimat-Mirin. At the moment PSV refuses because already a lot of sales in the transfer window

Yesterday, Burnley manager Sean Dyche revealed the Clarets were searching in Europe for a player.

He said : "We haven't got the support (scouting system) as some of the big clubs so when we do go into Europe it is important we have as much information as possible.

"There are certain situations we do have information on and there are certain situations we look at."
