Burnley hope to tie up LA Galaxy friendly

Burnley hope to organise a friendly against David Beckham's LA Galaxy during their US tour.

"For us to play at the Home Depot Center, even though it will be behind closed doors, will be a good part of the tour," said Burnley chief executive Paul Fletcher, who is accompanying the squad on tour to establish further ties in the America leagues on the back of their affiliation with Cary Clarets, formerly known as Cary RailHawks.

"There's a chance of such a game, but it isn't confirmed yet.

"It's been in the pipeline for a while, but if it doesn't come off there's a chance we could play another Chivas, another Major League Soccer side."
