Burnley hope to extend the deal of Portsmouth striker David Nugent.
The Sun says the Clarets hope to agree a deal in the next 48 hours to keep striker Nugent.
His four-month loan deal from Portsmouth ends on Friday.
The Clarets also want France forward Frederic Nimani, 21, from Monaco until the end of the season.
