Burnley boss Owen Coyle hopes to close a deal for Ecuador winger Fernando Guerrero in the next 24 hours.

The Lancashire Telegraph says Coyle could make winger Guerrero his sixth summer signing in time for the club's tour of Scotland.

The Clarets, who head north of the border on Wednesday to play their final two pre-season friendlies against Kilmarnock and St Johnstone, are understood to have made a £2million offer, including add-ons, for the Ecuadorian.
