Burnley are set to land Sunderland striker Connor Wickham on-loan.

Wickham is set to sign for struggling Burnley after missing out on a move to hated rivals Blackburn Rovers.

Young hit man Wickham will be allowed to go out on loan by Martin O'Neill a year after his big-money move from Ipswich and Eddie Howe wants to sign him as soon as possible, says the Mirror.
