Burnley fullback Kieran Trippier insists he'll treat his return to Manchester City like any ' normal' game.

Both Trippier and Ben Mee have admitted since the start of the season that it is a date on the calendar that will have special significance, after the duo moved to Turf Moor within a few days of each other in 2011.

Trippier told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "I'm looking forward to City, but it's just like a normal game.

"I was there for a long time but I'm a Burnley player now and I'm just concentrating on getting the three points.

"We've got to be prepared for Liverpool and hopefully trying to get the points.

"Every game in this league is a tough game."
