Burnley fullback Kieran Trippier has no regrets leaving Manchester City.

He signed permanently for the Clarets last week.

Trippier, 21, said: "At Manchester City the manager said I would not be in his plans so I said 'OK!'

"But as soon as Eddie spoke to me and said he wanted me I didn't have any second thoughts.

"I'm delighted and there is nothing better than playing every week."
