Burnley boss Brian Laws admits concerns they could miss out on Monaco striker Frederic Nimani.

Laws confirmed the 21-year-old Monaco striker is training at Turf Moor as the two clubs discuss a loan deal.

He said: "Quite clearly there is a huge interest and we are trying to do something within the next 24 hours.

"However, until he signs he is not our player and there's not much more we can discuss.

"We want to try to strengthen the team and while I am prioritising other areas, if there's an opportunity we can't miss then we will nip in."
