Celtic striker Anthony Stokes is being tracked by Burnley.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche is making contingency plans in the event they lose Danny Ings and Stokes is on his shopping list.
The Daily Mail says the 26-year-old former Arsenal and Sunderland striker is open to a move and keen to return to England.
Republic of Ireland international Stokes has also been linked with Leeds United this month.
