Burnley every chance of survival against all odds - Dyche

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is confident his side can avoid relegation from the Premier League.

The Clarets lost 2-0 at home to Manchester United on Sunday which leaves them 16th on the table, just five points above the bottom three.

Despite the precarious position, Dyche believes the form of his side is strong enough to remain ahead of the drop zone against all odds.

"On paper it looked like a tough run and it was always going to be, especially with the form Everton are in at their place and then Manchester United 22 unbeaten before today," he said.

"We've cheated the system a few times in what people think of a game, but you can't do that all the time. We've done it well here, we've played some teams who are well fancied here and taken 10 Premier League wins.

"When you look at the points on the board now and historically with our last two efforts we're in good shape - against all the odds, no-one gave us any chance at all."
