Burnley duo Ashley Barnes and Jack Cork are very happy to be awarded for landmark appearances in the Premier League.
Cork placed for the 200th time in the league during the 4-2 defeat against Fulham on Sunday. Barnes now has 100 appearances in the Premier League. Both players were honored in the week.
"It was nice to go back there and have my 200th appearance last weekend. It's just a shame we didn't get a result either time, but I'm proud to have made that number of appearances," Cork said to the Lancashire Telegraph.
"I was only on loan at Burnley and it was a tough time at that moment.
"You don't know what's going to happen, so I was just happy to have made a few appearances at the time.
"You don't necessarily think then that you would make this many so it's great to have worked out this way and it's nice to have got to 200 back at Burnley.
"I am grateful to Southampton and Swansea as well for giving me the opportunity to play so many games.
"It's been enjoyable and hopefully there are more to come."
