Burnley defender Michael Keane says Manchester United's managerial merry-go-round gave him little chance of making it at Old Trafford.
The England centre-back kick-started his career by moving AWAY from Old Trafford.
Keane said: “I have confidence in my ability. When I went out on loan I always felt it was to come back and play for United.
“The coaches always told me that. I feel like the change in manager at times didn't help me out and that as soon as I left there, I wanted to prove them wrong. It made me want to work harder.
“And I'm thankful for Sean Dyche, the manager at Burnley, for giving me the opportunity to play regularly. It gave me the confidence and hopefully I have proved a few wrong."
