Burnley defender Michael Keane has earned a first call-up to the England squad.
Stoke City full-back Glen Johnson has withdrawn from England duty with injury and been replaced by Keane.
Gareth Southgate has handed Michael Keane a first England call-up as Johnson's replacement after an impressive start to the Premier League season with newcomers Burnley, says the London Evening Standard.
The 23-year-old, who has worked with Southgate at England Under21s level, scored in the Clarets 2-0 victory over Watford earlier this month and has played every minute for Sean Dyche's men since their return to the top flight.
The squad are due to report to St. George's Park for international duty on Tuesday ahead of World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia.
