Burnley defender Michael Keane feels he doesn't need to leave Turf Moor to earn an England call.
Keane's form has reportedly caught the eye of Chelsea and he has been touted for an England call sooner rather than later, with a Three Lions squad set to be named on Sunday.
“It was the best decision I've made coming here," said Keane to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
“I've grown as a player and playing week in week out helps you improve so much, playing Premier League games I feel more and more comfortable."
Keane also qualifies for the Republic of the Ireland, but remains committed to England.
“I've not fully committed yet but I want to try and play for England," he said. “That's my ambition and it always has been. I just need to keep playing well and helping the team do well and hopefully one day the call will come."
