Burnley chief Brendan Flood has questioned the wisdom of Owen Coyle's move to Bolton Wanderers.

Coyle left Turf Moor with a stinging parting shot from the Clarets board who insisted he was joining a sinking ship.

Burnley director Flood said: "When we spoke to Owen, there was a factual analysis of the two clubs. They've got a bank debt of £44m, we've got none.
