Burnley are chasing Aston Villa midfielder Ashley Westwood.

The Express & Star says Aston Villa are likely to be the subject of a £6million bid for midfielder Westwood - and that could just be a starting bid from the Premier League new-boys.

Villa may hold out for up to £8million to let regular starter Westwood, 26, leave for the Clarets this summer.

They paid £2m to take him from Crewe in 2011.
