Burnley chairman Barry Kilby says they're returning to the Championship in good shape.
Kilby says there's no threat of administration thanks to their careful spending.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We are in good shape. Certainly we've no danger of administration.
"One's in it (Portsmouth) and one's in danger of it (Hull). We could have started to go down the Hull route if we weren't careful. Whatever you spend in January you've got to live with it for the next three years afterwards.
"We've got two good players (Leon Cort and Danny Fox) that will serve us well for next season I'm sure. In normal terms if we were in the Premier League next season we would expect an income of over £50m.
"Next season it will be half the turnover than in the Premier League.
"But we have no calls of debt on that money."
