Burnley captain Ben Mee on Huddersfield: Never in top gear

Burnley captain Ben Mee was satisfied with their 0-0 draw with Huddersfield.

With Burnley showing only one defeat in a rock-solid start to the campaign, Mee was quick to see the positives as he and his defensive colleagues chalked up a second successive home clean sheet.

“I don't think we were quite fully at it but we played some good football," Mee told Clarets Player HD.

“A point is a point and we are still moving up that table nicely.

“Fair play to them, they defended well and I thought their back four did really well.

“We would have preferred to win and we did push to win the game and get the three points.

“But it wasn't to be and the next best thing is not conceding and trying to get that clean sheet."
