Burnley boss Sean Dyche has warned the Premier League not to lose it's physicality.
Dyche believes players like West Ham striker Andy Carroll could be driven out of the game if the Premier League continues down its current path.
He told talkSPORT: “I think he's a good player. I mean, why wouldn't you use – not necessarily elbows – but why wouldn't he use his physicality for his team and his style of play?
“I'm massively into the idea of different ways of playing – different teams operating in different ways.
“Different individuals have different strengths, and that's always been the beauty of the game."
He added: “We've got to be careful we're not going too clean about the game and it [becomes] too perfect – where everyone wants it too Barcelona-esque.
“I think there still is good value in different ways of playing and how different players operate."
