Burnley boss Brian Laws admits he's trying everything to snap the players out of their winless streak.
Laws is under the cosh as he takes the next-to-bottom Clarets to Wigan for today's crunch clash.
The Turf Moor chief said: "We're changing small things - whether it be a tie, how we go to a game, how we eat and when we eat.
"We've all tried different things. Cloughie would stick a bottle of whisky in front of you - but I'm definitely not doing that one!
"I passed it on and Neil Webb used to drink my lot."
Laws insists Burnley's spirit remains strong despite last weekend's crushing home defeat by Wolves.
He said: "The players could be easily forgiven for feeling sorry for themselves but they're not and that gives everybody a lift.
"You've got to keep fighting and that's the spirit they've been showing in training."
