Burnley boss Eddie Howe was pleased with the debut of Everton defender Shane Duffy.

The young Irishman featured in Burnley's defeat to Ipswich Town.

"Shane [Duffy] was a positive and he attacked the ball very well in the air," said Howe.

Howe is assessing Duffy ahead of a potential permanent deal at Turf Moor.
