Burnley boss Sean Dyche says they must buy big this summer to stand a chance of staying up.
He will sit down with the club's money men to put a case for splashing the cash as they look at a potential £100million windfall.
Dyche said: “The money will be massive to have around, it makes the challenge massive.
“But everyone will have the money and be spending it, we have got to try and get part of that market.
“Eddie Howe has done a great job at Bournemouth and spent £42m. We spent £10m last time and the wages that go with it.
“I am not saying we will spend that much but I will be speaking to the board about it."
