Burnley boss Sean Dyche says Tim Sherwood is in unknown territory at Aston Villa.
Dyche believes it will be a challenge for the former Blackburn Rovers captain to adapt to a new club.
Dyche said: "He had a short period at Tottenham Hotspur.
"But in that period he seems to have got a number of suitors - QPR, there were stories of West Brom, and then Villa. So there is obviously a lot of faith in him.
"The biggest challenge for him will be going to a new club.
"I have experienced it. Things do not run how you thought they would run and how they did at your last club.
"After a few games there will be a big change.
"You have got to affect it on the pitch, we all know that, but it is not so easy if things off the pitch are not running how you are used to and familiar with."
