Burnley boss Sean Dyche defended Ashley Barnes over his X-rated challenge on Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.
Dyche also took a swipe at Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho over his complaints about the 'tackle'.
"It was a coming together," claimed the Burnley boss after their 1-1 draw. He then laughed at the description of it as a "studs-up reducer."
"I don't think it was a malicious challenge.
"There was more to the game than that," added the Burnley manager, who refused the opportunity to re-watch the challenge when offered by a journalist.
When then presented with Mourinho's list of complaints, Dyche proceeded to mock the Chelsea boss:
"Have they anything else [to complain about]? Is the grass too short?"
