Burnley boss Sean Dyche is happy to have fielded an all British XI on the weekend.
Dyche is happy that his selections could potentially help develop players for England one day, with the likes of Danny Ings, Michael Keane and Kieran Trippier getting regular football.
But he told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "There's a pride in the sense we're playing our part in the development of the younger players, because there is this big debate about the national side.
"There are young players playing here who are under 21 internationals and beyond, who are learning about the Premier League and are going along very well I feel.
"But as a manager you're not really bothered where players come from, you want good footballers.
"It just so happens that this is the team we've built here, mainly due to the depth of recruitment we could offer before this season because of finances.
"You have to have knowledge of the players you recruit."
