Burnley boss Dyche prepared to cash in on Leicester target Keane

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is prepared to cash in on Michael Keane.

The Mirror says Burnley rejected Leicester's opening £12million offer for Keane, even though it is understood Dyche is willing to cash in on the centre-half.

Dyche believes he could use the windfall to strengthen his squad as the Clarets bid to avoid an immediate return to the Championship next season.

It is understood Dyche has between £20million and £30million to spend this summer and selling Keane would significantly boost his kitty.

The Clarets boss knows he has a ready-made replacement at centre-half in James Tarkowski, whom he bought from Brentford for £3million in January.

Leicester know this and will test any possible fault lines between Dyche and the Burnley board with a second, improved bid.
