Burnley boss Sean Dyche is delighted for Danny Ings over being named Northwest Championship Player of the Year.
Dyche was named Manager of the Year at the Northwest Football Awards.
When asked whether the award will be a further boost to Ings' confidence, Dyche said: "Of course, he has collected a few awards on the back of what he did last season.
"He wanted to take that form into this season. Unfortunately, he had a little injury but he has come out of that nice and sharp so we are looking to see what he can achieve."
