Burnley boss Dyche happy with 'very good' Newcastle point

Karl Darlow's late own goal denied Newcastle a first Premier League win at St James' Park since October as Burnley struck late to snatch a 1-1 draw.

Sam Vokes' close-range header went in off Darlow via the crossbar with five minutes remaining to cancel out Jamaal Lascelles 65th-minute opener.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche said: "A very good point. Bigger picture stuff for me. We haven't won. we had a soft start, they were the better side early on but it is 18 points on the road, we got seven in a season last season. We can't lose sight of that.

"We can't get a penalty. It was a definite penalty for Jack Cork."
