Burnley boss Dyche demands changes to transfer window system

Burnley boss Sean Dyche wants changes to the transfer window system.

Dyche is no fan of the transfer window and has thrown his weight behind a move to scrap the August 31 deadline.

The Burnley manager said: “It's bizarre that weeks into the season, there's this craziness.

“Pre-season is kind of pointless if you get, say, seven players in after you've moulded your team. It doesn't make any actual sense.

“True value and worth is out the window now, it's just whether you want to pay the price or not.

“It's a feeding frenzy. People in more powerful positions than myself have said it needs to be looked at.

“It used to be open all year apart from the last few weeks of the season. It's not about right or wrong, it's about common sense. I think they've got to look at a better version."
