Burnley boss Dyche confident keeping Liverpool target Pope

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is confident of keeping hold of Nick Pope.

Reports had linked Liverpool with a move for Pope as they look to solve their goalkeeping problems.

But the Lancashire Evening Telegraph says there's been no contact between the two clubs.

Pope is currently away at the World Cup with England after a stunning breakthrough season at Turf Moor, winning numerous player of the year awards having replaced the injured Tom Heaton in September.
