Burnley boss Owen Coyle admits they face a waiting game over the prospect of signing on-loan Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Everton and Celtic have also been linked with Wilshere but now reports have indicated that injuries to Arsenal midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Denilson could delay or even scupper any move.

"Obviously Arsenal have got a few injuries to Denilson and Fabregas so it would be common sense if they wanted some time to weigh things up," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"We'll just have to see. I couldn't say either way at the moment."
