Burnley boss Coyle: Important never to panic

Burnley boss Owen Coyle admits their home form is key to Premiership survival.

Coyle says the panic after defeat to Wigan Athletic was almost unbearable.

He told TalkSport: "Well we have (to). The other week we lost at home to Wigan and we lost our first home game for nine months and then all of a sudden there was a clamour - change this change that - (but) there was nothing needed changing.

"We were really unlucky in the Wigan game, we were 1-0 up and then there was so much that went against us that day. I've watched the game back three times and on any other day we would have won that match. I knew that our eleven was good enough to win at home against Hull (the next week) and the lads have kicked on and that's what we have to do.

"We are very much a work in progress, trying to do it against all the odds but we have a spirit about us and we have quality and we have to keep showing it."
