Burnley have upped their bid for Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur.
The Daily Mail says Burnley had a £4m offer rejected last week and are returning with a £5m offer for the Scottish international last week.
Wigan boss Uwe Rosler says the 26-year-old is not for sale but is keen to bring in new players such as Brentford midfielder Adam Forshaw.
McArthur is keen on a move to the Premier League.
