Burnley have commenced negotiations with Norwich City for the potential transfer of Alex Pritchard.

Sky Sports sources suggest that the Clarets have opened discussions regarding an £8million deal for the Canaries winger.

Pritchard, 23, only joined Norwich from Tottenham Hotspur in August for the aforementioned fee but it is understood that Burnley boss Sean Dyche is keen to land him this month.

The former Peterborough United, Swindon Town, Brentford and West Bromwich Albion loanee has made 18 appearances for Alex Neil's side this season.
