Tottenham have reportedly had a £12million bid for Danny Ings accepted by Burnley.

Reports suggest that Spurs have lodged an offer in an attempt to beat Liverpool to the signing of the 22-year old striker.

Ings comes out of contract with the Clarets at the end of next month and Spurs are keen to secure his signature as soon as possible.

The fee reported is expected to blow any offer Liverpool have in waiting out of the water but Ings would still need to agree wages, signing-on fees and bonuses.

Real Sociedad are also showing interest in the former Bournemouth youngster who scored 11 Premier League goals this season.
