Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has been offered a bumper move to MLS. The Mirror says the former England defender, 35, is a target for several US clubs who are trying to lure him to become the league's biggest star since David Beckham.
Manchester United stalwart Ferdinand is telling pals that the MLS is now likely to be his next career move, if he carries on playing, as he appears to be on his way out of Old Trafford.
His one-year contract is running down and he is not certain to be offered a new deal. But his stock has never been higher in the US and he is giving it serious consideration.
