Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard says former Fulham teammate Bobby Zamora will be a good signing for the club.

Bullard told the Hull Daily Mail: "I always loved playing with him myself, he's an old fashioned striker.

"If you look at his goal record, he will tell you himself that it's not what it should be, but his hold-up play makes him a very good striker.

"His big, he holds it up, he never gets bullied and you'll never see a centre-half come through him.

"He's got that bit of quality about him and when he does score, he scores some great goals.

"It would be blinding if we could get him because he wouldn't half improve us as a team I'm sure."
