Jimmy Bullard understands Fulham came back from adversity to survive in The Premier League, and the midfielder is still amazed by their fantastic end to the season.
The Cottagers have managed to stay up thanks to a stunning series of four wins in the last five games and Roy Hodgson's player can hardly explain it.
The former Wigan star has revealed helping Mohamed Al-Fayed's club stay up has been the best achievement in his career.
"I don't know where this run of form came from -' I really don't know," he said.
"With four games to go, I think everybody in the world was betting against us.
"We were down there and people thought we didn't have a lot to play for, even though we did.
"Everyone wrote us off but we just played our game and it has worked out nicely.
"Keeping Fulham up is probably the best experience of my career.
"I've got to a cup final (the Carling Cup with Wigan in February 2006) before and lost but we definitely felt like winners at Portsmouth.
"We stayed in The Premier League and it really feels like we've won something."
