Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard revealed manager Phil Brown has apologised to the players for last season's public halftime rant at Manchester City.
For Saturday's draw, Bullard scored his equalising penalty and was at the centre of their carefully-rehearsed mickey-take of Brown - which took place at the same end of the ground.
Bullard revealed Brown has since apologised to the players for his very public humiliation of them last season.
He said: "If a manager decides to do that you take it on the chin.
"The performance wasn't great in the first half that day. But he has apologised himself to us since.
"If I had been involved it wouldn't have affected me one little bit, but it is just good to watch, isn't it?"
