Juventus has received an early Christmas present with the return to training of keeper Gigi Buffon. Buffon attended training on Tuesday and has fully recovered from the serious groin problem which has kept him out of the side since September.

After Sunday's away clash to Atalanta the Serie A will break until January 7 and it is believed Buffon could return to the team by the middle of January.
