Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon admits they need to step up their game in Europe after last night's 1-1 draw with Lyon.

Buffon said: "I am sorry because we wanted to win. We were well prepared for this match, but Bordeaux proved stronger than we thought, and the draw is the correct result.

"Fabio Cannavaro? Hopefully the injury is not serious because someone like him makes the difference.

"What's missing? We need to create more, Europe is different, we must play better, with more quality. In these respects, Juve must improve, we need personality."
