Gigi Buffon's agent held a new round of contract talks with Juventus on Monday.
Corriere dello Sport says the goalkeeper is happy with a one-year extension to 2014, but Juve are pushing for a new two-year agreement.
Buffon will see his salary drop from €6 million to €4 million.
More negotiations are scheduled, with Buffon due to put pen to paper during the winter break.
