Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has apologised to fans after defeat to Champions League opponents Bayern Munich.

The goalkeeper did not seem his usual self in the 2-0 loss.

"It happens in this profession to make mistakes," Buffon told Striscia La Notizia.

"I'm disappointed, as the game was compromised, so I have to apologise to the team and the fans."
