Fit-again Rangers striker Thomas Buffel hopes to recapture his best form after eight months out.

"I really hope I can be involved, especially in the matches against Barcelona. It would be a dream to play against them," said Buffel.

"Getting back into the first team is my main aim but, at the moment, we just have to assess the situation game by game.

"I just need to get my match fitness up and hopefully will be involved soon."
